Elijah Johnson vaulted onto the economic scene in 2012 after launching his “Finance and Liberty” YouTube Channel, earning this declaration from the Financial Survival Network: “16 Year Old is Smarter than Ben Bernanke!”

As one of the youngest sound-money enthusiasts out there, with a concerned eye on the national debt, the U.S. dollar, and gold and silver markets, Elijah is on a mission to warn and educate his generation about the risks of the current financial system, and what they can do to protect themselves.

Elijah believes the U.S. could be headed for another financial crisis. But he believes people’s financial well being is not the only concern. Historically, in times of crisis, people often call for the government to step in and save everyone. But this government intervention can limit personal liberty. As former Congressman Ron Paul eloquently put it:

“Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens’ lives. Liberty has meaning only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen and a false government security blanket beckons.”

Elijah believes preparing financially is only the first step; protecting our liberty is the next.

Elijah has spread his message on his YouTube channel by interviewing financial authors, political analysts, and market makers on the state of the U.S. economy and political system from angles not covered on the mainstream news. The guests who have appeared on his show include former Congressman Ron Paul, Editor and Publisher of “The Gloom, Boom & Doom Report” Marc Faber, Head of Research at GoldMoney Alasdair MacLeod, Federal Reserve expert G. Edward Griffin, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for economic policy under the Reagan Administration Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, and silver market expert David Morgan.

Elijah wants to expand his outreach through his new website FinanceAndLiberty.com. If you would like to help Elijah wake up America, subscribe to the FinanceAndLiberty free email newsletter for the latest original interviews and best financial articles and videos from the web.
